The first in a new line of earthy, eclectic necklaces, Tribal #1 is a very long, 58 inch strand, of hemp twine and a taupey sand colored ribbon, on which is strung wood and glass beads. Also included are unique enameled bells, gold colored chain, mesh ribbon encasing metallic embroidery floss, and a good sized oxidized brass bell at center front.
This OOAK necklace can be worn as a single long strand, or can be looped over the head twice for a more standard length look. The ribbon is in the center front portion, and is knotted loosely between each bead. The upper portion consists of 3 strands of hemp strung through large-holed beads, and in some places, each strand has a small bead which are clumped together for a more 3-D effect. The 3 strands are knotted here and there as part of the composition.
It has a very Bohemian look about it, and would go with anything from jeans, to a gauze or linen dress.
