A design that reminds me of necklaces seen in old westerns.

This necklace is made of Turquoise nuggets and round Crazy Lace Agate. The agate is capped with silver toned bead caps. Black glass beads blend at either side of the cross as well as ending the piece at the clasp.

This necklace measures approx. 16 3/4 inches in length. The cross itself measures approx. 1 1/2 inches in width and a drop of approx. 2 inches. This piece is finished off with a silver toned toggle clasp.

Inspiration / Story behind this Product:

I remember watching westerns all the time growing up and one thing that has always stuck in my mind was the look of the crosses and the "Spanish style" of the necklaces. I always thought they had the feel of the Old West and I tried to convey that through this piece.

This listing is is for one (1) clamshell package containing 6 soy wax cubes. Approximate weight is 3.5 oz. Dye free.

Wax tarts are perfect for those who want to change scents frequently or who like to mix and match different scents to create custom combinations. Simply break off one or two wax cubes and place them on top of a tart burner (tarts can also be melted on a candle warmer if you put them on an appropriate, heat-resistant container). Once you light the tealight underneath, the heat will melt the tart and release its scent. Each cube gives off approximately 8-10 hours of scent.

These tarts are created using soy wax, a renewable resource that helps support American soybean farmers.

The pendant is a tree of life growing within a black lip shell frame. The wire is copper and the "leaves" are citrine, peridot, quartz and amethyst. The cord is made by hand-braiding satin cord using the Japanese technique called Kumihimo. This piece has an organic, woodsy feel created by the green, rust, gold and black braid.


The cord is finished with handmade copper coils and a swan hook clasp. The copper will eventually patina to a warm brown tone.

This basket is made from a bottle gourd that I cut and shaped. I handpainted the gourd a mixture of browns. I painted purple grapes and on all sides of the gourd. I painted a metal leaf in green and wrapped it around the stem. I used polymer clay and made a wreath that can be used to hold the gourd in place. Feather Cages, long, dangle feather earrings with Rosella parakeet wing feathers which are beautiful purple/lilac and black colored. Feather Cages are my original design and were featured on The Dedicated Follower of Fashion www.dedicated.typepad.com on 3/1/09.

These earrings are just under 2 inches long with non tarnish silver plated wire for the cages and the ear hooks. A beautiful purple Swarovski crystal dangles from the bottom of the cage.

The first in a new line of earthy, eclectic necklaces, Tribal #1 is a very long, 58 inch strand, of hemp twine and a taupey sand colored ribbon, on which is strung wood and glass beads. Also included are unique enameled bells, gold colored chain, mesh ribbon encasing metallic embroidery floss, and a good sized oxidized brass bell at center front.



This OOAK necklace can be worn as a single long strand, or can be looped over the head twice for a more standard length look. The ribbon is in the center front portion, and is knotted loosely between each bead. The upper portion consists of 3 strands of hemp strung through large-holed beads, and in some places, each strand has a small bead which are clumped together for a more 3-D effect. The 3 strands are knotted here and there as part of the composition.



It has a very Bohemian look about it, and would go with anything from jeans, to a gauze or linen dress.
